Lily and Zopop may have one of those rare AOL Cross – Country Cyber -Romances that became a reality!! It’s an interesting and romantic story of perseverance and love... Lily originally submitted the story to AOL in response to their promotions for the movie "You’ve Got Mail " Whenever we have low points or difficulties to overcome in our relationship, we re-read this story that reminds us of how special our meeting was.

Lily and Zopop’s story was recently featured in the Orlando Sentinel as reporter Nancy Imperiale Wellons took a look at the growing trend of meeting online. It is a pretty balanced look at both the positive aspects and pitfalls of the love online experience. We were asked to participate by the folks at AOL who still had Lily’s entry for the "You’ve Got Mail" contest. Recently, we’ve received a lot of mail responding to our story, with questions and requests for feedback and individual advice on the concept of Love Online . Much of the mail concerns maintaining online love and how those relationships can survive. Here are some thoughts and general advice to consider as you work through the issues....
Thinking of the Readers...
Hey all...thank you for all the support you have shown with letters and hits to our web page, I can say most of it has been inspirational. As the page has grown with the love of all of you out there and the continual love Zopop and I have for one and other I have been kicking an idea around, and wanted to bounce it off our readers.
So here it goes...
I was thinking about incorporating a message board to our love page. Where we can talk about relationships formed online. This would not be the average message board, it would be on that would be more on the positive side of online relationships and advise on how best to "Make Dreams a Reality".
We all know the hard hits online relationships have taken and the ridicule for falling in love with words of love spoken in the truest form they could be meant. The wish to connect with that someone special, or the one that has the ability to make your heart sing with a simple written, "I Love You". I feel it would be a "Good Thing" to have a place where we do not have to feel shy in expressing how we feel, in a world where understanding is at best, limited.
So...in the immortal words of a famous chef, lets kick it up a notch!!!
